We added a lot of photos to the Gallery from the MET Gala events, candids from May 8 & 9, 2017 of Alicia out and about in New York City, also added a new portrait session Alicia did for Louis Vuitton before the MET Gala. She looks gorgeous, take a look!

As mentioned in our yesterday post, Alicia is gracing the April 2018 Cover of Marie Claire! We added a few high quality photos from the photoshoot by Thomas Whiteside to our Gallery, we’ll add digital scans as soon as possible in the meantime check out the photos! She looks beautiful but we were so excited to see them yesterday and now we’re disappointed cause all of the photos are black & white and they wasted the beautiful retro outfits, Alicia’s glowy skin tone, the cool make-up and the awesome textures. A lot of times when photographers go b/w it’s because they’re out of ideas or want to seem edgy (but end up looking uninspired) or when they simply didn’t produce good photography so we don’t get it! Hopefully they’re colored in the spread. Here, a few highlights from her April cover interview, on newsstands March 27:

On conveying Lara Croft’s strength in Tomb Raider:

We wanted to base most of the action in reality. She’s a girl my size having to become a survivor and overcome a lot of obstacles, and I wanted it to be believable that she could do it. All the action scenes when I had to fight with a man bigger than me—we had to figure out how I could actually kick his ass. I wanted to show young girls that it’s cool to be a girl who’s really strong and that watching her, you feel like OK, she might be able to climb that wall. As you already know Alicia is gracing the March 2018 Cover of Hunger Magazine. We added new high quality photos from the photoshoot taken by Rankin to the Gallery! She looks beautiful! Hopefully more photos will be released soon. The magazine hits newsstands today! You can also read an excerpt from her interview below:

“I’ve been really lucky,” Vikander told Hunger. “My first three films were all directed by a female director. I’ve had some really cool women to look up to. I think the sisterhood really creates a mentoring environment. Change is about initiatives like Time’s Up and 50/50 by 2020, it’s about making sure you include women in all departments, about really making an effort to not only have women in front of the camera, but also behind.”

The 29-year-old Swedish actress added that “awareness has spread and suddenly it’s become more natural to tell all the diverse stories that are out there, we’re not just, without thinking, choosing the ones that have been told repeatedly before. That’s what art is for: It’s about sharing and letting all stories come to the surface.”

Alicia and her Tomb Raider co-star Daniel Wu were photographed by renowned photographer Mark Seliger for the 2018 April Issue Cover of Vogue China. They both look wonderful! We added a few photos from the lovely photoshoot to our Gallery. We’ll try our best to get our hands on a copy of the magazine to add digital scans. Enjoy (:
